Emerging from a collaboration between the Polynesian Voyaging Society and our Forge Advanced R&D design team, the Big Water Foul Weather Bibs are built for open-water voyages. Blending full storm protection, unencumbered mobility and high-visibility reflectivity, the bibs are a highly durable foul-weather kit for long and demanding ocean crossings. Made in a Fair Trade Certified™ factory.
Waterproof Protection
Highly durable, 4-layer H2No® Performance Standard shell is made of NetPlus® 100% postconsumer recycled nylon ripstop made from recycled fishing nets to help reduce ocean plastic pollution; with a slick jersey backer to manage moisture, stay comfortable next to skin and enhance movement; paneling over the knees, seat and lower legs holds up against the wear and tear of hard work on the deck
Adjustable Suspenders
Adjustable suspenders allow for a customized fit and are designed to stay in place over the shoulders; the upper bib can be cinched closed to keep out water; integrated belt loops accommodate a belt
Easy On/Off
Deep center-front zipper offers ease for getting the bibs on and off over layers
Shaped Cuffs
Durable cuffs are shaped to avoid rubbing or chafing and can be cinched down with hook-and-loop closures; they are designed to be worn primarily barefoot
Pocket Details
Two secure pockets on the upper bib include key clips; one drop-in right-thigh pocket with a hook-and-loop closure keeps gear accessible
Be Seen
Strategically placed, highly reflective strips ensure visibility from every angle
