Emerging from a collaboration between the Polynesian Voyaging Society and our Forge Advanced R&D design team, the Big Water Foul Weather Jacket is built for open-water voyages. Blending full storm protection, unencumbered mobility and high-visibility reflectivity, the jacket is a highly durable foul-weather kit for long and demanding ocean crossings. Made in a Fair Trade Certified™ factory.
Waterproof Protection
Highly durable, 4-layer H2No® Performance Standard shell is made of NetPlus® 100% postconsumer recycled nylon from recycled fishing nets to help reduce ocean plastic pollution, with a slick jersey backer to manage moisture, stay comfortable next to skin and enhance movement; paneling across the elbows, forearms and back hem will withstand years of abuse
Adjustable Hood
A stowable hood with an integrated cordlock adjust and a laminated visor will maintain fit and shape, while the independent high collar blocks wind; an offset center-front zipper reduces chin chafe
Easy-To-Use Zipper
Two-way, watertight, center-front Vislon® zipper is sturdy and easy to use
Cuffs Keep Water Out
Articulated cuffs with internal wrist gaskets keep out water and secure with external hook-and-loop closures
Hem Adjusts
Adjustable hem can be cinched for a tight seal or lies flat when not in use; drain holes allow water to drain even when cinched
Pocket Details
Two secure chest pockets with key clips and an internal drop-in pocket provide dry storage; two reverse-entry front pockets with microfleece keep out the elements and warm hands
